I am a textile artist based in Naarm/Melbourne, and my practice explores renewal, repair, and transformation through the use of old and discarded textiles.
I work with worn domestic cloth that carries traces of memory, labour, and lived experience. Through intuitive hand stitching and slow textile processes, I transform these forgotten materials into contemplative works that speak to resilience, endurance, and the quiet beauty of repair.
Led by the materials themselves each piece evolves through a dialogue with the cloth, allowing its history, imperfections, and possibilities to shape the work. Cloth and thread have become my language for expressing emotional experiences that are often difficult to articulate, creating spaces for reflection, connection, and quiet restoration.
My practice is self-directed and enriched through study with Australian and International textile artists. I have presented work in solo and group exhibitions and have undertaken several self-directed residencies on the Mornington Peninsula and the Wimmera district, where the landscape
continues to inform and inspire my work.
I invite you to explore my collections and discover how old cloth, through care, attention, and slow making, can become a quiet testament to transformation and the enduring power of renewal.
I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people, who are the traditional owners and
custodians of the land on which I currently live. I recognise their continuing connection to
land, water, and culture. I pay my respects to elders past and present and extend respect to all First Nations people.
