Fluid Marks explores the quiet traces left through movement, memory, and the passage of time.
Working with calico cloth painted in acrylic and ink, each piece begins as a fluid surface. Once
dried, the cloth becomes a ground for intuitive stitching, where thread shifts across the terrain of
the textile.

Through the interplay of paint, cloth, and thread, forms emerge that suggest pathways, rhythms,
and remembered flows. Rather than depicting a specific subject, the works allow imagery to
surface gradually, as if recalled from within the material itself. Each stitched mark becomes a trace
of motion—a fragment of memory held in the landscape and within us.

The series invites viewers to consider how experiences leave impressions, how movement shapes
place and feeling, and how quiet marks accumulate into personal and emotional histories. These
